"Although the Pac-10 has not extended official invitations to Tech, Texas, Texas A&M or three other Big 12 schools, conference officials have contacted the universities and expressed their interest in doing so, said the source, who is expecting the official invitations soon."

Doesn't matter then since the world is blowing up then before the bowl games anyways.

But seriously, this should be interesting to see how it plays out. Between USC being banned from postseason play and the shift of teams from conferences, things are really going to be a bit weird in the future of college ball.

Also on a houston radio it is rumored the Kansas is trying to take Texas Tech's spot in this whole deal due to their basketball stature.

I dont like how kSU, KU, and ISU seem to be left out of the talking. I havnt seen KU trying to take a spot but it makes sense. Though Im sure they wont have a problem finding a conference they should be in a big one. Big 10 needs to get it together and invite them too.

I do like that this will force the Pac 10 into a conference championship game that they have tried so hard to avoid. This many teams can't all be played in one season.

Personally I would have rather say ok by Colorado and Nebraska and then see the Big 12 pick up TCU and Boise State both better then Colorado and some what better then the Nebraska of the last few years.
