So, I'm sitting around one night and I get a PM from Skorris telling me about a Jason Jennings 1/1 that's sitting in somebody's ebay store. I told him how I've been feeling super broke since the birth of my daughter, and I had sent the guy a lowball offer because it was all I felt I could afford at the time and besides, well, it's Jason Jennings. Next thing you know, I get another PM from Skorris telling me he has purchased the card for me, and all he wants in return is my address. He mentioned he had some bonus cards too!

WoW! A couple of Topps Black/Copper cards! This was a huge mailday for my little Jennings collection, there were so few cards made of him after 2003, I haven't added 3 new cards to the collection in years and years. I never pick up the Black/Copper cards even though I want them, I'm just too cheap. It's just hard when a nice insert #/5 sells for $2, and then the blacks #/57 sell for $5. I know, I know... but that's just me.

So anyway, thanks Mack, for putting a little happiness into my day. Sorry it took a few days to post this, I wanted to scan the cards and my scanner is parked at work.

There is a Jennings bat barrel patch 1/1 on ebay with a great BIN. The only Jennings card I had was his rookie auto from 99 topps traded. I got it as a freebie and gave it away as a freebie (but now I am a little anxious, as I realize I gave it to a dirtbag.)

You lost me on the dirtbag story, but... I saw that barrel and put in a super low offer, and he countered with $60. I couldn't pass it up. Carboard Anonymous, here I come. :|

Thanks to Jared (JarCar) for making this possible. He bought a nice card from me for $50, it was a pretty good upgrade for me for an extra $10. I should have used the money more wisely, since I have a new baby and my hours were cut down to 20 recently, but... that's what the Carboard Anonymous comment is all about.

Thats a great card and a tremendous price. As for the dirtbag story, basically the guy I gave the freebie to ended up being a total lowlife and scumbag and I wish I had just kept the card or given it to someone nicer.
