So i finally get a package of cards i had bought on ebay a few weeks ago. they sent me an empty package saying sorry for your inconvenience. it sat in a NJ PO for 2 weeks and then they deliver it empty. and now because they delivered the empty fracking package i cant even get my money back for not receiving the cards. ok im done ranting.

That sucks, dude. I've had similar things happen to me before, only it was with a destroyed Netflix movie and the USPS. Fortunately, it must happen often enough with Netflix that they understood the problem. I don't suppose the seller put insurance on the package, did he?

i dont see anything on the package about insurance. sucks too it was a nice texas tech lot that included a crabtree auto for our college group. im sure you can all guess who they were meant for lol

Even if he didn't, he is still responsible for safe delivery. I know it's not his fault, but it is considered his duty as a seller. I wouldn't file a Paypal claim, but you could under the rules of selling I believe.

yeah i cant file a claim. he sent the item it wasnt his fault the USPS cant do their job right. i guess i will just eat it and go back to hunting for cards

Actually you can file a claim. First of all was the package still sealed or was it torn open? Either way you can contact paypal and open up a claim. I think that "I received a empty package" is one of the options. Sucks for the seller if it indeed wasn't their fault.

if paypal didn't want to do anything don't u think tons of dishonest sellers would sell imaginary heyward autos an just send the envelope no card an just say i guess it was lost in the mail but because you received the package i promised i shipped it with a card inside.

Well i didnt have to do a thing to get this resolved. when i emailed the seller he refunded the full amount back to me. i would have been happy with half since it wasnt his fault but hey i am very happy with the outcome.

i bet you that he knew something was wrong the whole time. I have on accident thought a card was in a bubble mailer sent out said bubble mailer empty an only noticed 2 weeks later when i was looking through a stack of cards an saw that card. I then shipped the card to the buyer but he never said anythign about receiving an empty package i thought that was weird.
