Just ended @ $1550.

Anyone here want to own up?

I would have taken it for that, but my $1500 offer was rejected with a note attatched that said $2700.

I might have given more. Didn't know the original seller was re-listing it. I figured it was the person who just purchased it.

All that mess for $50, minus listing/final value fees ::facepalm::

+1, what happened to wanting to sell it on FCB as opposed to ebay? We had multiple FCBers offer $1500 which nets him more after ebay fees...

I'm guessing a straight auction would've netted around $2300 ...

Why didn't you take DMC's offer of $1,600 plus cards! Seems foolish to pass on an off eBay of more cash from someone that wants the card for his PC!?!

I've got a great answer to this question, but it might not be board appropriate. :x

perhaps he will encase it in carbonite?

hell, I don't care what he does with it

it's his card now

calm down Chris. It was a joke. Did you have a bad day today? What'd they make you do? Count the endless supply of 88 Topps wax packs for inventory?

Yah, for all we know, he can cut it up into 25 pieces and make them a part of a "original rookie card" insert card/25 - it's his now and he can do what he wants with it.

Uh, maybe I shouldn't give Topps any new ideas- imagine an original 52 mantle sliced up for a 2010 topps updates and highlights insert.

That would be card insanity.

I cannot express how pissed off I am at this. My anger level is higher than when Gilmore tried to steal Golden Corral steak from my plate in Cleveland last year.

bikerider is an ass clown extraordinaire.
