I cannot express how pissed off I am at this. My anger level is higher than when Gilmore tried to steal Golden Corral steak from my plate in Cleveland last year.

bikerider is an ass clown extraordinaire.
Tell'em why you mad son tell'em.

Yeah I would like to know why he is a ass clown. I thought about going after it for @#$% and giggles, but thought it was pretty low of him to get $1,500 for it and then come here and ask for $2k.

In a nutshell....Sunday night, I offered more than the selling price (if $1,550 is the final price) as immediate off-eBay (or on eBay, if her preferred) PayPal payment. I was told he liked my offer and that he wanted to sleep on it. Now it's sold for less than I offered.

I understand, his card, his perogative on who he sells to, but I made a more than fair offer, was prepared to go even higher, and was even told that my offer was the best and he wanted to sleep on it. I hear nothing Monday morning, but given that people have jobs, I think nothing of it. Then I find out it sells on eBay, for less, and he has to pay fees, etc. I PM him to find out what happened to my offer and his only response is that he needed the cash immediately. Strange choice considering I too offered immediate payment. All of this, combined with his lame ass posturing in this thread that he put it back on eBay, but would rather sell to someone here. This is a direct quote from his original post:

"...The buyer got a good deal ,but blew it. I will take offers from board members. I much rather sell here than Ebay.....where you can check out the card. I'll take offers, I except payment the same Day or 2 the at the most... via Paypal. I'm looking for 2k+ ,but will listen to all offers."

The whole ordeal smells funny to me and it's disappointing to be (seemingly) so close to a HUGE PC card. I would have bought that card and it would have never seen the light of day again.

Ass clown.

In bikerider's defense, he might not be 'all there.' Everything he posts makes me think he has a serious substance abuse problem

LOL! I've honestly never paid much attention to his posts, but that at least would add some kind of "logic" to how and why this went down the way it did.

Personally - I would wait 8 days to get the $1500. However, the buyer should have discussed with the seller first. I had a deal that was $3,000 where the buyer wanted 6 months to pay for it, and I would hold the card until I received all funds, and I agreed to it.

Unfortunately, that thought has been running through my head as I read this thread. Overall we have a great community here, but sometimes you take the bad with the good.

Some cards aren't really spam when they are the #1 prospect in Baseball and it's a 1/1 of their first MLB card.

Better than yet another Montero thread.

I think most would rather that than a OBVIOUS ebay spam thread that does not get moved for whatever reason. But hey at least the card landed in the lap of someone who isnt shady at all.

Sorry angel... Just there is a difference between this card and someone pimping (Insert Prospect Name here) over and over as spamming their own sales. But some people feel the need to report the post over and over still.

Damn straight, shall I make a thread selling my cards also to show you how fast its moved? Its a 1/1 of a top 5 prospect or is that not in the mysterious unwritten rules of #1 prospects?

The reason that this thread isn't a spam thread is that the card is relevant to most of the board, most would like to talk about superfractors.

It's all about intrest.

We shall agree to disagree I guess. I have not really seen any "discussion" in this thread besides people asking why is this here why more money, but ok your place your rules.

All in all sorry DMC you got screwed some people are just smooth talkers.

Its not a spam thread because we haven't seen any SPAM!

You really wont let this rest will you, the first post is spam why dont you go re read it and tell us where the discussion was? 99% of the people here make this topic its moved period. But somehow its your mission since page 1 is to defend it, keep up the good fight. Nice job saying people are getting all conspiracy driven earlier in the topic, thank goodness nothing went down odd since then.

The OP's post and beinging of this thread is spam. Period. He had no intention of discussing prospects, superfractors, anything other than selling his card.

Is the card one of the top prospect cards in the hobby and worthy of discussion? Yes, but to say it isn't/wasn't spam is nonsense.
