Got in that 19-card misc. '98 Tek lot today. Just one diffractor, Lofton p.38. The stuff that looked heavily spotted or like diffractors on the scans were actually pretty clean base cards. No idea what the seller was using for lighting but it produced some pretty freaky scans. Won that seller's 2nd lot too. We'll see what I get!

Well he didn't know that he had them. I asked him about the Belle patterns and he said they were patterns 46 and 84, neither of which I needed. I asked him if either happened to be a diffractor and he has no clue what that was, so I told him what they look like without blowing it out of proportion for what they are or what value might be and he said he found four but no Belle's. He must have switched them over and then you picked them up, congrats. I probably would have jumped on them if he came back and was like "Yea, found a McGwire, Griffey, etc."

I think Fandruw was referring to posting in here when cards are listed or up for auction, etc. The commented you quoted for [MENTION=8009]rinkrat38[/MENTION] was him saying he had already purchased them I believe.

Without getting into a pissing match or making "rules" I think Fandruw was just kindly saying that if you see a Tek card or lot or something up for sale, PM the person you think needs said player, etc. as opposed to posting in her and alerting everyone, even trolls, what you found.

I personally don't care what anyone does... as long as they only PM me about Belle cards and not alert anyone else about them
