It's all about the chase! The destination is kinda boring LOL
I still need Robin Ventura TEK 27, 79 and 82. I know Carl listed those above in his list, but if you want to help me directly, I much appreciate it!
Good luck everyone. Glad to see some of you guys finally finishing this quest.
No worries. Looking for those still and also working on other White Sox and a 2nd Ventura set. PM me if you ever find anything. My mistake 3 of those 4 those Venturas on my want list I just deleted were for an easy to deal with collector working on his master set who had a couple hundred to go for all 8100 that I sent to him along with 15-20 other cards he needed a couple months ago. I reposted my own personal 1998 Topps TEK want lists. Not much in the way of any new discoveries going on in 98 TEK for quite a long time. Most of my trading with 1998 TEKS has been done on The Bench.
A HUGE shoutout to Rich rinkrat38 he pm me a few days ago saying pattern 77 was on the way., it was the final card on my Bernie set.
I cant thank him enough for his help and generosity. thanks again

I enjoy hearing stories, especially from the veteran TEK collectors, on how they put together their larger collections back in the early days of Ebay. How much of your collection came from opening boxes? Did you use any of the Usenet forums way back in the late 90s? Ebay used to allow direct messages between sellers/buyers if I recall. These are fun stories to read.
Check out the second post on this thread. It was just 2012 when Griffey Diffractors were going for less than $40 on ebay.
At a rate of one Belle diffractor added to the PC every one or two years, I might be able to get all of them before I die. Key word there is "might" haha
