I have no problem with that. By all means.
I have a problem with those fans(pick any team) that take it too far. Boston fans in Vancouver didn't get pushed around or threatened, didn't get beer throw at during the game. You can't say the same of fans in Boston. All the homer posts I see makes it sound like the Canucks are the only unsportsmanlike team in the playoffs. Every team in the playoffs has embellished penalties, taken cheap shots after the whistle and pretty much everything that the Canucks have been accused of doing. Trash talking is part of it, most people brush it off and move on. It seems like a lot of people are still bent out of shape over bitegate. I don't think a suspension of Burrows would have appeased the Bruin fandom.
Regardless, the NHL playoffs are the best of the bunch. Tonights game should be a close one.

And you know that for fact? Milan Lucic came out and said his grandparents had popcorn and beer dumped on them at one of the games. Just cause it's not reported in the media doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

As for why everyone gives it more to the Canucks, is because they have certain guys on their team who are known-embellishers (i.e. Lapierre - one of the worst I've ever seen).

I know you brought up the Peverley slash, but Higgins (?) did it to Krejci in Game 3, which led to the one goal, so it all evens out. As for "bite gate", I think everyone's over that. The bite happened, Lapierre did it to Bergeron in Game 2, Lucic and Recchi did it Game 3, nothing been done/talked about since.

Yes, everyone embellishes and everyone trash talks, just some teams do it more than others...

I'm just amazed Lapierre stayed on his feet long enough to score.

Edler is playing a hell of a game for Vancouver. There's a lot less space out there than there was in Boston.

Trust me, they're worse when the team you root for loses them.

Vancouver's D really showed up last night, no doubt about it. Luongo has had two of the easiest shutouts I've ever seen in this series.

I'm not saying he's wrong, but maybe not the best answer to give? Particularly when you've given up more than twice the goals the other guy has in the series, and just came off a game where you could have taken a nap and gotten the shutout, thanks to your D?

Not playoff related, but i thought id post this in here, since this thread gets a ton of views.

Upper Deck has another promotion up and this time it is centered on custom NHL hockey cards. Entries can be either computer-generated or hand-drawn, depending on personal preference. Entries must be uploaded to the Upper Deck Facebook Wall by June 15th and the winner will be announced the next day.

One random entry will be picked to win a full-size Tyler Seguin autographed hockey stick.

Very cool, one suggestion though, don't have the signature spot white, that'll give UD the idea that it's perfect for stickers!!! I think as long as it's a bright colored background, it'd still look pretty cool.

The sig was on a white background. I had been fighting with the "Remove Background" option for around 2 hours with 5 different autos until I just gave up and went with one that had a white background. My original idea was to have a puck auto but all the autoed pucks I have, the sigs are HUGE.
