The All "Call Up" Team 2012

After seeing Grandal's and Rizzo's sizzling (relatively speaking) debuts last week, I was thinking that we nearly had a complete team with all those early season call-ups. Who do you think would make this team?

Rules: MUST NOT have played in the MAJORS prior to this season; MUST have been playing in the MINORS prior to this season; in italic I put suggested names, not sure whether there's been a better player at the position

Rosario did play 16 games last year

Good point; I'll list both for now, seeing as they respectively played in 8 and 4 games


I'd like to keep that thread running all season, and update it based on new call-ups; should we agree on 15 games and/or 45 AB's for batters and 5 games and/or 30 IP's for pitchers before making comparisons between 2 players?


Edit: I'll try to come up with a graphical display for the lineup, that would look fancy; should we include a DH spot too?

Will keep an eye out on Marte and Myers if and when they're called up. I believe that for Myers, the manager said that he will be called only if there is a regular starters spot for him.

As for Bauer, he didn't look too bad in the first outing; I "demoted" him to the Maybe list.

Finally came around to add Marte, and added Machado (already, over Simmons, if only for the offensive production)

Am I missing any recent other promotions? I'm sure I need some enlightenment for the rotation...
