This can not actually happen until free agency at 4 pm Tuesday March 10th. Also he has to pass a physical too
For the 3rd time is his 10 NFL career Brandon Marshall has been traded. And to the Jets no less.
Brandon Marshall had a couple got season with the bears. But he only played in 13 games in 2014 season and had the lowest productive season last year, other then his rookie year which was lower.
With the emergence of Alshon Jeffery as the Bears #1 productive receiver, this is no surprise the Bears decided to part ways with Marshall. This also gives them some Salary Cap space in the neighborhood of $3.9 Million. That's money needed to shore up the dismal defense.
If everything is good with the physical, then the Bears, will get a 5th round draft pick from the Jets for Marshall.
