All I wanted to know is what would have made Distinction such a high end product? What were they going to do with it that would have made it so high end? I tried to come back to the thread and see if anyone answered my question and of course its gone because people can't control themselves on here.

This was their original floor plan:

* Every card (including base) will be serial #d to 50 or less.
* All on-card autos
* Each pack will contain 5 cards:
1 Base
1 HOF Cut Sig
2 Autographs
1 G/U

Thanks, JP. So every card would have been auto'd, including base?

Any idea how much a box/pack of this was going to run?

No, you misunderstood. The base set and GU would not be auto'd (to my knowledge anyway - they were only at the most preliminary of stages). They hadn't even ascertained a SRP yet either.

So umm any questions?

Assuming your Podcast isn't Ustream'd, I'll ask them here:

What does the future hold for their 2009 products?
What will each consist of?
Will Signature Series and Metal return?
Will Metal be packed out next time?

I'm sure I'll think of more later.

Here's a couple:

Will Sig Series 09 contain all new players or repeats from last year mixed in?
How many different autos is he shooting for this time, 100 again?
Will the parallels remain the same?
How does metal factor in?

Questions for Beefy-

1. Have they proposed a preliminary release schedule for 2009?
2. Are there any key 2009 draftees that he is targeting (I know, he can't do anything yet, but he can make a plan, right?)
3. Have they planned the product layout for Razor Signature and Razor Metal, if these products will even be produced. How many autographs per box, base set size, parallel numbers and changes, etc.

Another question

What have they learned good or bad from their first two releases that will help with their future products?

Alright, after a little thought here's my questions:

* Will Razor release Sig Series and Metal as stand alone products or as a mixed product next year ala Bowman (Metals as parallels)?
* Will Letterman return next year? The secondary market seems soft.
* If Razor is concerned about hurting the value of previous draft releases, are they planning more prospect type products or only going with one or two baseball products a year?
