Great day, just chillin' after a HUGE meal.....got kids an EPSON projector to watch movies in "large." We have a cathedral ceiling so we can watch on the wall, almost like at the theater. They were stoked!!

I've got 4 bubble mailers to rip that I have been holding several weeks. I know what the items are but fun to have some cards to open today.

Hope everyone had a great day. We are headed to hang out with some of our closest friends in a few hours.

Nothing wrong with going to the movies while everyone else is home. What are you going to see?

I dare someone to tell me that eating turkey doesn't make you sleepy. I will gladly punch em in the face and tell em they're full of it. Triptophan or whatever the hell it is in turkey puts me out every time. I love turkey.

So I received a Blu Ray player. I also received three movies: 2001: A Space Odyssey, Men in Black, and Let the Right One in. Also some cologne, boxers, car stuff, and gloves. I gave my sisters some DVDs, Mario Karts for the Wii, and my mother a new computer. Then we all watched the O.C. season one. The whole family watches it together... ;)

I packed it in- we did a ham, green beans, potatoes, fresh bread with cheese/crackers appetizer. Went to friends tonight for dessert then we had pizza and more appetizers. I'm tailgaiting Sunday at Pats game so tomorrow will be low key and lots of exercise.

Hope you had a great day Dave!!

We saw "Sherlock Holmes" and it was tons of fun!

I am a Baker Street Irregular and have two shelves of nothing but Sherlockiana: all of the original Conan Doyle works, plus homages, anthologies, studies of all things Holmes.

The movie was absolutely great! Highly recommended!

I've been wanting to see Sherlock ever since I saw the previews in the theatre. Can't wait to see it.

You will enjoy it, I am sure! Lots of humor to go with the action, clever plot, authentic locations, sets, costumes. Also, the producers/director/screenwriter did their homework: a lot of nice little details, staying true to the elements of the original stories. :)
