I have been working this morning, and just clicked on the local station and there was breaking news info at the bottom of the screen..
So I checked the news homepage. Totally senseless shooting..

My thoughts and prayers go out to these four families that lost a loved one today..

Four Lakewood police officers shot and killed in 'ambush'

Horrible story. Hope for some kind of justice soon.
Yes that they catch him and then put over 100 bullets in his ass, sorry did I jsut say that out loud.

that story is just awful and reminds me of last year when a guy here in Pittsburgh killed 3 city cops when they responded to a domestic disturbance call at his home placed by his mother. 13 months later he still hasn't gone to trial because he and his lawyer claim he is insane and he fails his competency test every time. it's a shame that he may never face charges for killing 3 men in cold blood and ruining 3 families forever.

Hopefully they find the person who shot those police officers quickly.

So we are going to paint the living room this week and where doing some prep work. We have has some weird spots where the ceiling meets the fireplace. Julie starts sanding a low and behold looks like 20+ year old water damage and a little bit of maybe mold. :?

So she peeled of a good bit of paint and bleached and scrubbed carefully what she could without causing damaging anything more. So she's going to now patch, prime and paint over all that now before we do the rest.

Lucky us.

Wow old house have some surprises I would not play with it, do you know sanding it can actaully make it worse for you health.Mold is a bad motor scooter make sure you take care of it right. Even a small area can do more damage then you think.

If you've got mold on the outside of the dry wall, there's a good chance you have it on the inside as well. For your health's sake, you should have it checked before you paint. We had mold inside the walls of the house we lived in on base and were constantly sick and coughing. I'd hate for that to happen to you and the Mrs.

We'll take a closer look at it in the AM when we are thinking clearer.

Did some reading if it is mold. It usually attacks the paper but rarely gets into the actual drywall in some cases. I guess it depends on the dry wall. Lucky it's an old house. Just read up on some Chinese drywall made this decade that has been breaking down and frying wires and electrical systems and such. To fix the problem you would have to rip out all the drywall in the house.
