So... next year will there be code put into place to limit winners to one win. Not everyone can hug their F5 key all day.
someone sounds a weee bitter.

What's bad about spreading the love to as many board members as possible?

That's my point. I understand that this is a "first come, first serve" sort of deal, but people really can't be at their computer as obsessively as others -- which is still fine and good.

But when you have any small number of people that are snagging multiple prizes, it makes you wonder if there will be more organization put into the system on the next go-around.

I mean, you'd hope that there wouldn't be any NEED to put a limit on wins into place since the majority of people I associate with here have the courtesy to win one and go... but I guess that's why I associate with who I do. Go figure.

I like the win as much as possible aspect.

It's capitalism, be dedicated or don't win. If you don't spend all day trying to win and don't win anything then your prize is not having to sit on there and hit F5 all day.

Almost 6pm and we STILL haven't hit 50 pages?

People too busy searching, not enough posting.

It seems the more you post, the more codes pop up.

Hmmmmm.

Then you don't understand your audience. That honestly reads like "It doesn't matter if 15 people win multiples all day long as long as one person gets one having only been in the right place at the right time."

Of course, though, I think I'm at two contest wins thrown by administration on this board where I ended up never receiving the prize. One of which I was told was mistakenly given to someone else and would receive a replacement -- only to not get that either.

You could have a must be a member for a week before contest rule. I know a bunch joined just for this and if some become contributing members then there would be no need for it. But if none of them do or stay then it just takes away prizes for "deserving" members.

Yeah, amazing how the populace and dedicated members here are what brought this place to be but forget them if it means people joining today to hit f5 get a prize. Hah

It is a shame there are so many sorry sports about who is winning.

Meh, fair enough.

I inquired about a limiter being put in place next time... but I also learned about how the coding into these things goes after the Secret Santa debacle. It's less about not winning and more about seeing just how unorganized these things seem.

I'm glad atlspor... I mean Gilmore.. is getting some attention for the site -- even if it's not permanent traffic.
