Tim Thomas (BOS), Pekka Rinne (NAS) and Roberto Luongo (VAN) were named Vezina Trophy finalists.

Thomas - 35-11-9 / 2.00 gaa / .938 save percentage

Rinne - 33-22-9 / 2.12 gaa / .930 save percentage

Luongo - 38-15-7 / 2.11 gaa / .928 save percentage

I say Thomas wins it.

who do you think wins?

The only reaosn Thomas doesn't win is if the voters figured he hadn't played in enough games, but frankly, I don't care. Those numbers are ridiculous.

Thomas wins, Rinne second.

Amazing, Evander Kane ITG 1/1, Canadian Hockey League (CHL) LOGO PATCH up on ebay. The logo would be from his Vancouver Giants Western hockey League (WHL).

Personally like these better than the the NHL logo shield. The vast majority of the these CHL logos are their one and ONLY CHL logo card they will ever have. Whereas if in the NHL, if the player is an above average player, by the time his career is over it would 20/30/40+++ NHL logos, maybe even more if plays a long, career.

This Evander Kane CHL Logo 1/1 is just past $100 with less than 10 hours to go. I understand there is plenty of time left, but this card doesn't end up over $250-$275, im calling a huge stael

they just announced on NHL Live that the interim tag has been removed from Jay Feaster's title and he will remain the GM of the Flames.

the Flames then announced that they have signed Curtis Glencross to a four-year $10.2 million contract.

Saw on the news yesterday that the city of Allentown, PA is going through the last stages of getting the property needed to build a hockey arena. It's been word for the past 2 years that once an arena was built, it would be the home of the Flyers AHL affiliate (Adirondacks Phantoms). They're putting the arena in downtown Allentown between 7th and 8th streets on Hamilton Boulevard which is a high traffic area. The city already is home to the Phillies 1A team (Iron Pigs) whose stadium (Coca-Cola Park) is off of Union Boulevard in an industrial park.

If the city was smart, they would cut a deal with LSI (formerly Air Products) who owns the land around Coca-Cola Park. There is a large amount of undeveloped/underdeveloped land there (more than enough for 5 hockey arenas with parking) and just turn it into a sports complex like the one in Philly.

The Flames made a small but significant trade yesterday. They shipped away their 2009 #1 draft pick (23 overall), highly touted D-Man Tim Erixon to the NY Rangers in exchange for Czech left-winger Roman Horak and a pair of second-round draft picks in return.

Had the Flames not made this trade, they would have lost Erixon for nothing as he was drafted 2 years ago and was not signed so he was ready to reenter the NHL Draft, later this month. The Flames had tried to sign Erixon several times before but he had no interest in playing in Calgary, it seeems.

The Rangers then announced they'd signed Erixon to an entry-level deal. The maximum annual salary at 2009 draft pick can make under the collective bargaining agreement is US$900,000, plus bonuses.

I traded my 1941 Yankees quad cut with DiMaggio for:
2004 Absolute Sammy Sosa 2/4
2005-06 Wayne Gretzky #WG SP Authentic Sign of the Times auto
2009-10 SPGU Evgeni Malkin By The Letter 2/6. "A"

Question on the Gretzky. It's not numbered, but Beckett shows a print run of 15. Is that correct? Did I get a steal?
