I dont collect the Major League Bowman cards anymore, way too common... :)

I only go for the Minor Leaguers (PCL)

I LOVE old cards, but I just can't get into 40's and 50's bowman releases- I feel the designs are just too plain.

What is it that you guys like about these cards, ie, what makes them standout from other contemporary Topps issues or compared to pre-war stuff?
