Hello everyone, and welcome to my own time-honored tradition - one which I've been doing for the past several years.
As this year's draft crop isn't as impressive as past years, I have made the prizes more enticing than ever, to encourage participation.
It's time for the clairvoyants on this board to stand up and be heard.
The contest is simple and straightforward.
Predict who will be the Top 10 draft picks of 2013.
Here is the draft order:
1. HOU Astros -
2. CHI Cubs -
3. COL Rockies -
4. MN Twins -
5. CLE Indians -
6. MIA Marlins -
7. BOS Red Sox -
8. KC Royals -
9. PIT Pirates -
10. TOR Blue Jays -
The person who predicts the most players correctly in the exact order will win. In the event of a tie, the person who posted their guesses first wins.
THE GUESSING DEADLINE WILL BE THURSDAY, JUNE 6TH AT 3:00 PM, Central time.
That's a mere THREE (3) hours prior to the draft. (Last year, the guessing deadline was six hours).
Once the deadline expires, this thread will be locked. You are free to edit your guesses until then.
You should make sure to fill in your guesses ASAP, as opposed to leaving them blank with the intention of filling them in later. (Remember, you can still edit them until the June 6th, 3pm CST deadline.)

The winner will choose to receive one of the following six cards below:
1) Matt Adams Bowman Orange Autograph/250
2) Yasiel Puig Leaf Metal SP Autograph
3) Jeimer Candelario Bowman Chrome Blue Refractor Autograph/150
4) Jose Fernandez Bowman Chrome Draft Autograph
5) Archie Bradley Bowman Chrome Draft Autograph
6) Matt Moore Bowman Chrome Autograph
But wait - there's more. :mrgreen:
In addition, if the winner happens to rank 8 out of 10 correctly, the winner will also receive this:
2009 Bowman Chrome Draft Zack Wheeler Autograph
Or, if the winner happens to rank 9 out of 10 correctly, the prize will be:
Bryce Harper Autographed OMLB, signed in 2010 when he played for the College of Southern Nevada
Or, if the winner happens to rank all 10 correctly, the Grand Prize will be:
Factory Sealed 2013 Bowman HTA Jumbo Box
Make sure your guesses are clear and legible, and that you use each player's name only once.
I'D APPRECIATE IT IF YOU USE BOTH FIRST AND LAST NAMES, AS SOME PLAYERS EXPECTED TO BE DRAFTED HIGH UP HAVE THE SAME LAST NAME. IF I CAN'T TELL WHO YOU'RE REFERRING TO, THAT NAME WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM YOUR LIST.
