Any other Knicks fans on these boards? Better question: any NBA fans on these boards anymore after the joke it has officially become?

Anyways, why don't they just keep Lee? 6 years 80 million isn't bad. I know Walsh has a hard on for Anthony Randolph, but Lee is proven.
I kinda like Lee, Galinari, Amar'e, Wilson Chandler, and somebody else (maybe Toney Douglas?).

Also, anyone think that if they do that, they have a legit shot at the playoffs or at least a winning record?

Love the NBA, hate the Knicks. I really do not have a favorite team right now, haven't since Jordan left the Bulls. I still love the game, and just root for certain players, and root against others. Here are my favorites to watch, and my least favorite players/teams:

Favs:
LeBron James
Derrick Rose
Rajon Rondo
Kevin Garnett
Vince Carter
Tim Duncan
Deron Williams
Chris Paul

Love to Hate:
Derek Fisher
Kobe Bryant
Kevin Durant
NY Knicks
Pat Riley
Doug Collins
Detroit Pistons
Cleveland Cavs
Toronto Raptors (Basketball should not be in Canada)

I like the deal of Lee for Randolph, Turiaf, and Azubuike. Randolph is extremely young as well and there was no way D-Lee was coming back after we acquired Amar'e. I'm estatic that we at least received something in return when he could of just signed with the Nets and we could of got nothing in return.

It also helps bring in toughness that this team was lacking.

I'm liking how the team is shaping up and I do believe we will finally return to a playoff caliber team. Let's see how the rest of the offseason works out though.

My Warriors once again let me down with a retarded trade. Randloph, Azabuke, AND Turiaf for David Lee who averages 20 and 11 IN THE EAST! On top of that they pay him 80MIL for 6 years. I'll bet anyone one here that Randolph will put up Lee numbers if not better numbers if he stays healthy.

Hopefully the Knicks continue to give my boy Bill "Sky" Walker some playing time next year.

How can you hate someone like Fisher? He is one of the greatest role players of all time and he has a number of rings. he is a great team player and has overcome his baby daughtar almost dieing a few years ago.

And what has Durant done?

This is the only player on his love to hate list I do not understand.

I mean, seriously, the soft spoken superstar who wants to play for the team who drafted him, isn't worried about stats, is constantly working on his game to improve himself, not a prima donna, well spoken, good with the fans and media, charitable and a hard worker.

If Kobe was that way, I know I wouldn't hate him then.

First, it is easy to hate fisher! He is the dirtiest player I'm the nba. He pushes, hacks, and puts both hands on the huh Brian guarding all of the.time. the second a foul Is called, he just gives that blank stare with his hands out like he has no idea what they called it on. Not to mention he may be the slowest point in the league. The lakers barely one the last 2 because of him. If they didn't have someone as good as kobe to guard the quicker. Pgs, they would have post to Aaron brooks and the rockets 2 years ago, and Russell. Westbrook and the thunder this year. Fisher kills that team.

And I find it very funny that you say durant is not a #s guy!? The guy throws up more shots than mickey mantle on a Friday night! He has to hit the gym too! My god, get a muscle at least! He can't guard anyone cause he can be backed down so easily.

1 name I left off of my list of guys I. Like is Jason kidd.

But a Canadian invented the game. ::facepalm::

Is there a point? They can't compete because noone wants to get paid in colored money with pictures of the queen of. England. Nobody wants to build an igloo mansion, or club baby seals for sport. Nobody wants to wear flannel eleven months of the year. Nobody wants to live in a "country" that sends their taxes to the queen of another country. And nobody wants to live in a "country" that has a "navy" that consists of 2 life rafts and a tugboat.

Lee is garbage and the knicks were never going to keep him if they could trade him for a quality ball boy let alone 3 nba players.

Lee isn't far off from what Amare brings to the table, and a lot less of an injury risk too.

At least they got something for Lee. If they just let him go and basically replaced him with Amar'e that made little sense to me.

Was thinking about it the other day and really I think it was worth it to clear the cap space and take a chance on the free agents....even though they didn't get any of the big 3. That team was such a mess, so many bad contracts and so F'd up by Isiah they had to blow the team up and start over....so I guess it was worth it to wait the extra year or two and hold out hope for Lebron. Now that he's not coming - I think they'll probably be best off saving some money. Not doing stuff like over-paying for Travis Outlaw.

When you shoot 47% from the field, throwing up all of those shots isn't that bad (especially when the team WANTS you taking those shots). Not to mention the fact that he did average a steal and a block per game, was 2nd in the league in Defensive Win Shares, All NBA First Team, 2nd in Total Win Shares, 3rd in Player Efficiency Rating and, oh, the youngest scoring champ of all time.

Plus, he led his team to the playoffs (the youngest team in the league, mind you) and damn near upset the Lakers in 7 games.

As for Fisher, I have hated him ever since the playoff game against the Spurs that he hit that crazy turn around jumper to win it. Being a Texas guy, whoever is left once the Mavs are out of the playoffs are my fall back team, so it broke me when he hit that shot.

I think they could make the playoffs.
Anthony Randolph
Reymond Felton
Amar'e Stoudemire
Wilson Chandler
Danilo Galinari

It's not a great team, but I think they COULD be decent. I'd say they finish 10th in the east, but they will be close.
