That makes me feel a little better12 hours left (until I have to go to work.)
This is going to be an Epic mailweek for me.
Productive day is complete...Crib was purchased/assembled, all the bills are paid, and an epic chip dip has been made and (partially) eaten.
How was everyone else's Monday?
Well four day weekend comes to an end. Have to read last four MT threads tomorrow at work.
Good weekend. I:
- painted the porch
- mowed the lawn
- cleaned the gutters
- washed the roof over the porch
- built trellis for the garden
- took the boys to the pool and swam for 4 hrs
- marched with the Cub Scouts in town parade
- raked up fallen "cigar beans" under my Catalpa trees
- went to a cookout
I'm pooped! Goodnight all.
How's work going E?
Have any vacation time?
Hey Jessie. Work is busy, which is good and bad, but mostly good. as far as vacation time goes, i tend to work as much as i can during the season, but im 99% sure i'll be going to The National the first week of August
hows work for you going?
Good. Crazy busy, Rain + Heat = fast growing grass. Machines break down, get flat tires and need hundreds of gallons of diesel. I don't stop for 12 hours. Its nuts. Almost 100 miles/day, all slow city driving.
But the wife and I are working the same shift so we get a week off together in June which will be the first time we'll have time off in the summer. Seasonal work sucks. Unless its your job. We get laid off in Nov.
I had 1 job offer last week and need to phone him back. In 10 weeks I'm free bit for now I can't leave
