Trey Ball is dealing: 6 IP 2 H 0 R 0 BB 2 K -- and only 61 pitches through 6 IP. Very effective. If he can continue to keep the pitch count down, I bet he gets a CG tonight.

Probably no CG considering this is only his 2nd start, but great to see him take a step forward with an outing like that.

Now a 2-run single for Benny. That's his sixth multi-hit game in his last seven.

So many mulit hit games, so many extra base hits, so much run production & so little strikeouts!

Now start hitting some bombs...

He's not trying to hit homers. He believes they will come in time.

His approach is to put the best swing on the ball he can and make hard contact. He's obviously doing that.

He's got 27 RBI, scored 24 R, 19 XBH, only 7 K, 10 BB and hitting .381. No need to emphasize home runs when he's doing what he is. Also, he had 7 SB as of earlier tonight, with 2 CS.

I'm not trying to downplay how amazing he's been, I only jokingly mentioned home runs for selfish reasons because the value of his cards will greatly increase when they come and I have no doubt that they will come in time. Those doubles will eventually become home runs the more he progresses. Either way, no reason for him to change what he's doing because it is working.
