Kid can rake....he started out the season soo slow in terms of HRs, too. Great to see him put it all together at the plate. Between him, Benintendi, Margot, Moncada, Guerra, and Travis, etc....the Red Sox have a ton of offensive talent waiting in the wings.

Swanson Hit In Face With Pitch
July 26, 2015 by Staff Report

No. 1 overall pick Dansby Swanson was hit in the face with a pitch from Cuban righthander Yoan Lopez during a simulated game Thursday at the Diamondbacks’ extended spring training facility, a source confirmed to Baseball America, but Swanson did not sustain any fractures.

The extent of Swanson’s injuries were not immediately known, but he will remain in extended spring training indefinitely. The former Vanderbilt star was expected to join short-season Hillsboro today but is not in the lineup.
