Nikon 5100. Absolutely love it. I used my 55-200 zoom lens on that one as the lions were about 12 feet up.

Had a pretty awesome evening last night!

Went to Arlington for a Fun Run, Meet & Greet, and books signing with Ultra Legend Scott Jurek.
It was freaking awesome. The guy is AMAZING!
20 Year Vegan, and is most known for winning the Western States 100 SEVEN years in a row! (Yeah, that's one of the most gueling 100 milers in the US, held in the mountains of Cali) He's also won Badwaters (135 mile foot race through death valley) twice.

Scott's rocking the green cut off sleeves and head band in the back.
I'm rocking the Orange (of course) in the front.

It certainly does. I would suggest waiting for a sale on a refurbished bundle that includes a lens or two. I bought mine refurbished from Cameta Camera with the kit lens (18-55) for $525. They typically do similar sales every other month or so it seems so keep your eyes open.
