Be sad for the cards, but don't be sad for me. This is the best thing I could do, and as much as I love collecting, they are immaterial when compared to future opportunities for happiness. I would have loved to sell the collection intact, but I need to be realistic.

Im not trying to be a dick and ruin your master plans or anything, but in a few years, when the money is blown on various things that arnt tangible and you dont have the cards anymore arnt you gunna be sad? i know i would. why cant you live your life (TI) and collect? many people do it. if you dont need the money, no need to sell

Picking up all your stuff and moving to a new place isn't easy and it isn't cheap. Cards are replaceable.

I could do both, but the cards don't have the same meaning. Certain visceral and precognitive emotions of mine have enhanced and become crystal clear in the last couple of years. Basic concepts like self worth, family, love, artistic integrity, etc. I used to be a reclusive and depressed individual. My transformation into a better and more outgoing individual has been massive. Also, to survive on my own, I anticipate needing the funds to back it up. I dropped out of college, so I will have to work my way up through the system. I feel very confident in myself right now though. Thankfully I have a very loving family, and they have been very supportive through the ups and downs.

Oh the artistic integrity? I put a lot of value in that, and I have been searching for my niche in the artistic community. I am completely envious of people who put their art in front of making money. Currently I would love to have some part in the film industry. I have no experience with that, but I love to analyze movies.

Dave (p)- Thanks. They won't be moving around or anything. I just read someone say that there can be a chemical reaction with the cards and the top loaders. I've got a couple of autographed 8x10s that I've had in 8x10 top loaders because I haven't gotten them framed yet and there hasn't been any problems. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't setting myself up for a let down with damaged cards.

Chris- Glad to hear the selling is going well. Good luck with the rest of your auctions.
