the Pirates have officially announced that they have acquired A.J. Burnett and cash considerations from the Yankees for minor leaguers Exicardo Cayones and Diego Moreno.

Good news for the Bucs?

Pretty low risk considering the experience he will bring to the rotation.

the Yankees are picking up a portion of his contract so it's a good move for the Pirates. the young staff will definitely be helped by his experience and hopefully he can win 10-12 games.

Now that Star Wars is over, my card ripping is pretty much done for a while. My new focus is going to be rock and metal legends.

I gave our roomie some card stock (pack fillers) and she's going to do some sketches for me. If there's interest when she's done, she's may be open to doing some work. Picking some Star Wars, Indiana Jones and maybe LOTR....1 sports
