Awesome card, but I admit I was hoping to see an Adam West/Burt Ward dual... :geek:

Pfft...I'd rather have a Julie Newmar/Yvonne Craig dual... :ugeek:

It really sucks that Batman '66 got so many licensing issues...thus preventing us from having a killer DVD (or Blu-Ray) boxset or even an awesome trading card set including cut autos from dead legends like Cesar Romero, Victor Buono, Burgess Meredith... *sighs*

thats because he didn't.. UD stated that these were going to be random insert but they lost their license before ever pack inserting them. I think the guy that got the whole factory set stumbled across a former UD employee that either took it with him or was given the set with his pink slip. The guy that owns the set on here lives close to Carlsbad thus close to UD headquarters so it makes sense that this turned up in a yard sale or flea market or whatever in the area.

Thank you for further insight. We struck a deal for the Sabo. I am very happy to be adding it to my collection. I wonder how many of these are out there. The guy that has them, didn't he say he has 2 sets of them?

No worries brother. I'll find the other one eventually. :D

Good to hear you got it done! which Sabo do you need? the one I had was #663 the NL ROY card.

That would be awesome.

I have individual autos of West, Newmar, and Craig. Hoping to get a Burt Ward someday. :ugeek: :ugeek:

Good morning all.

I hope Barry realizes that Upper Michigan is NOT identified with the lower part of Michigan!

Looks like ice fishing is just about done. 6" of water of top of the ice, conditions where terrible durning the evening hours yesterday. Couple of ice shanties left on the lake. They will probably need a boat to reach them. Until yesterday, the thickness of the ice was around 16"-18".

George, I think Adam West would even like that card. I know I approve!

I have the Twilight Zone, too. I have a Craig from Wild Wild West and a West from Outer Limits. :geek:

thanks Dave.. I had to look at the big picture on it. I wasn't going to do much with it for the next few years so the parts would be basically useless sitting out in the weather so I got what I could for it now and the family will have fun in Florida so its worth it.

it's good that you were able to turn something bad into money for a family vacation.

Yes thats a huge positive.. my kids will remember the trip forever and thats far more value to me. The way the market is I could buy a turnkey car for pennies on the dollar now anyway so why bother messing with something when you can have one already done? down the road I'll get another car because you just never lose the love for it.

For the Star Wars fans here:

Ralph McQuarrie, the concept artist for much of the original designs for characters/locales of the Star Wars Universe has passed away. :(
