yes that's the pacific ocean in the background. these pics aren't the best i've seen but the church in the background of the one is smack in the middle of downtown now, all this are has been filled in and is tourist shops now.

yes it is. though other records show the first game was held in the early 1900's. cant remember offhand but 1901-1903. i remember our town celebrating 100 years of baseball in ketchikan
