My fellow Canadian friends, I need some help.....

I have a package coming via Expresspost 4 day service.
I have a tracking # but I don't have a web site to track it.
Any idea what web site I would go to?

All right, the urologist is a cool guy.

On to the news. The ER really, really, REALLY undersold the size of the stone in my left kidney. The urologist was impressed. Took new images today, it hasn't grown since the beginning of the month. He showed me and Crystal the images because he wanted us to underhand how big it is. It's the size of a golf ball. No ****. A golf ball. In my left kidney. Grand.

There are 3 options and we are starting with Door #1. Next Friday, they will put me to sleep, insert a stent from my bladder to my left kidney, and see how much of it they can break up. The doctor said that he thinks it's going to take 2-3 sessions minimum and that I will have the stent for up to 6 months.

However, if the stone doesn't break up much next Friday, Plan B requires them sticking a laser and camera up my, well, peehole. If that is required, they will try to laser away the rest of the stone.

Or, the Last Chapter is opening me up and removing it. Next Friday will dictate what the plan of action is. If the stone breaks up well, we'll continue with the sound waves. If it does not, depending on how poorly it goes, then we'll move on to either the Plan B or the Hail Mary.

Could be worse. The fun game we played was how many different adjectives the doctor could use to describe how big the kidney stone is.

After all of this is done and the stone is removed, we will begin our course of action for prevention. Will probably include a dietary change and possibly medication. I'll take a pill every damn day if it means I never have to have kidney stones again.

Joe-

I applaud your humor and disposition in this situation. I'll be praying for the best possible results on Friday and as little pain as possible in the aftermath. A pill a day isn't so bad; I take a vitamin every morning and a pill for cholesterol every night (my cholesterol has been over 300 since I was 24).

No offense but we kinda save this to active members. This way people know the kinds of gifts that the victim would like or laugh about. Feel free to become a regular and we will be more than happy to include you for the December full scale offering.
