Great news. As of now, I'm 99% sure my job is safe. They met with those that will be furloughed today and I wasn't one of them. So relieved and happy! :mrgreen:

Johnny, you have my condolences. Wish I have grandparents that lived that long. Only one of my great-grandmas made it past 92...she passed away at 101.

Well, I'm fairly certain the phone interview went well. They really give you no indication either way.

I know from those that have been hired that there are no in-person interviews. They just said I'll be contacted by email in the next 10-14 days.

So I should be getting an email telling me to go get a physical and a drug test if all goes well.

In the meantime, it looks like I will have to drive to the old job in Glenview for at least a couple of weeks.

They called yesterday and want me to come in starting Monday...ugh. 59 miles each way... ::facepalm::
