Yesterday, I was able to once again find something better about being older than younger.

Apparently, there is big drama going on in my class. One person slept with another over Spring Break. A different person was mad about it. All three people were standing outside class denying/accusing.

It was good fun for a few minutes, but then I lost interest and started talking to someone else about something else.

Eventually, it turned into a big, "Who told you that I slept with her?" thing.

The kicker for the whole thing?

I am in a facilitation group with all three of the morons next month. ::facepalm:: ::facepalm:: ::facepalm::

After class, I may or may not have told them that I don't care about their crap and they need to get sorted or drop the class.

God deliver me from *********, please. :x

So my good morning has taken a sad turn.

I never knew either of my paternal grandmothers - growing up my mother's best befriend's mother filled in. She is the only grandmother I have known since childhood. Now at the age of 92, she will be leaving us in tears. Its just a matter of if I can get there in time to say goodbye.

I know 92 is a good span for any person, but when its all you have known its just that much harder to accept.

Very sorry to hear this. :grouphug: We got word last night that my wifes grandfather (96 years old) passed away in his hospice room. I was able to talk quite a bit with him a few years back while his mind was still sharp. It was nothing less than fascinating listening to him.

Great news. As of now, I'm 99% sure my job is safe. They met with those that will be furloughed today and I wasn't one of them. So relieved and happy! :mrgreen:

Well, I'm fairly certain the phone interview went well. They really give you no indication either way.

I know from those that have been hired that there are no in-person interviews. They just said I'll be contacted by email in the next 10-14 days.

So I should be getting an email telling me to go get a physical and a drug test if all goes well.
