Afternoon/Evening Gents! It's been quite the busy Easter weekend and days off for us. We went and looked at another 7 houses today and I think we have our minds made up to start our first offer after some tough looking and thinking.

Awesome. Can't imagine how tiring and stressful that process must be.

Tiring all the way simply due to the lengthy days. We are a "half glass full" couple so the stress has been there but nothing too major yet. I'm sure that will change was we actually lay down the down payment :lol:

Sjrmn91 - After renting for so many years the process seems a bit different keeping in mind that we are moving into something we will stay in for 15-20 years. Apartment/rent searching has always been a pain in the arse...luckily we have been in the same spot for 3+ years so it hasn't been too bad

We saw 30 or so houses over 6 weeks before we found the one.

My goal is to only be in this one for a couple years, 3 at most, before I invest in a house but we'll see what the job market looks like in 3 years. :lol:

We must have looked at over 100 houses on the MLS website, and over 20 in person before finding ours.

Whatever you do, make sure you don't choose my house (as of today). While the lady and myself were at work today, the big dog and her upset stomach DOMINATED the living room carpet downstairs. Been down there cleaning for the past 2 hours!

I absolutely LOATHE Nick Blackburn....How the Twins can still consider him a pitcher of MLB caliber I will never understand. He did recover decently today, but he generally lacks effectiveness at the major league level. I did enjoy Perkins out on the mound today though.
