Morning all
Today is TYKTW Day
AKA "Drag Your Kid to Work Day". An excuse for parents to take the day off, kids to get a day off school and generally drive us nuts. This year we have 675 8-14 yr olds to entertain around the campus. Some areas are giving tours, some are doing presentations and demos, some are doing experiments. We are dressing them in a Lab coat, photoing them on GreenScreen and putting them in a Lab environment since they can't reallly go in an active lab. Each kid gets a 5x7 print in about 30 sec.
The fun starts in a few minutes, see you all later

What an awesome game last night at Camden Yards.
BEAUTIFUL weather, and the O's dominated.
Very impressed with Jason Hammel. He was on point.
And WOW, Pedro Strop is just nasty! 97 MPH Fastball - 83 MPH Curve. Lawrie looked silly trying to hit him.

taylor, i work construction and we typically drive an hour or so each way but this jobs out there a ways. were actually staying out the next 3 weeks mon-fri and getting hotel.
i know i said i was done but while browsing i couldnt pass this up at half or more the cost ive seen others go for

Cool picture Russ - I've always wanted to visit Camden yards. Wish I would have had a chance while Ripken was playing.
And good morning everyone - hope you all have a great day. I'm off from work today but still up early to take the kids to school and then picking them up at 2:30. Have to go to my house to clean during the school hours and need to run wedding errands all day after that. So much for a day off...

A group of us were trying to go to one of the Phillies @ Orioles games in June, but 1.) they were sold out almost immediately cause it was the Phillies and 2.) those that had bought the tix were charging ungodly amounts of money for them. I was ticked. I live in MI now, but I lived in DE and Philly for years and still haven't been to Camden Yards. It was one of the first "new" parks, if I remember right, and I've always wanted to get a looksie in there. And, btw, go Hammel. Picked him up on a fantasy squad just in time to get that W.

Got up at 6 today to do more studying before I have to head to work. Finals week , woo!
I'm hoping the Vikings don't completely screw themselves over today and actually take one of the two defensive guys to improve the team.

Good morning... I was looking on Yahoo to see if they had anything about Chris Parmalee and how he was doing.. I turned on MLB Network and they had a live feed into the Twins/Redsox game, then Parmalee got nailed in the head with a pitch and went down like a bag of potatoes..
