The comic book thing is pretty much all new to me. I collected them in the early to mid 80s, but never gave them much thought after I stopped working at the card/comic shop back in 1995

Can anyone confirm that the 2010 Topps Update Gold set as SSP's?

Thanks for the suggestions, still not sure if I want to do another set from the 50's or not. I might just go back through the '52 and '53 Topps sets and work on those living players but who knows at this point.

E- That comic is sick as hell! Congrats on the win! I plan on getting into comics once I have more disposable income.
Just got back from buying a "new" car. The I've been looking for a car to replace Kelly's for a while and had wanted to buy an Eclipse, but it's not really logical with an almost three year old and one on the way. Perusing craigslist tonight I finally found a decent deal and got a call back from the lady immediately. Had some issues (engine and coolant lights were both on) so being the person I am, I called her mechanic and talked to him about it before I went to look at it. Everything checked out with him and after my inspection so I talked her down to $1400 and drove away with a 1998 Malibu LS with 122k miles.
