I wish it were students; they are long gone. I am dealing with colleagues who they their heads so far up their Arses it is scary.

If I ever get to teaching at a college level I feel that I would experience more irritation caused by colleagues than students...

Teaching is fun and a treat; research with boneheads is mind numbing.......I guess I am a bonehead to them as well.

Just packaged up of 40 items to mail. I had alot of auction that ended last night, and over 3/4 of the customers have paid!

Off to the post office then to the sporting goods store to apply for my bear hunting permit so I can get into the lottery for a bear tag.

Good Afternoon Gents!!! OUTSTANDING weather here in Seattle the last week! Pushing close to 80 degrees today and I am taking advantage of it reading outside on our back balcony.

George - I have no doubt you are the toughest bonehead out of them all ;) How has dealing with the folks in the UK been and have you started talking like them?

What do you all think would be the best way to handle this situation?
I would like to win an auction but I would also like to have a couple of weeks to pay for the card. I know in most cases it is best to contact the seller and let him know my intentions and work something out with him/her. But in this case I don't want to tip off the seller (one I have never done business with) just in case they might try to bid me up ( I know that sounds like I am being negative but it could happen right?). What would you all suggest? I am open to all opinions.

Thanks!

sjrmn91 - Nice! Facepalm already...whats your name? Enjoy the weather dude!

Alex - That is tough about your situation on payment/seller. I would reach out to a member here that might be willing to buy it for you with the price you have in mind and you could pay it off that way. Just my opinion...and I wish I was in the position to help you out man!

No worries man. I totally understand. I would like ot get this card and actually gift it to someone. I know I haven't said who it is or the player, but that is so i can just get opinions and go from there. I would like to work out something with the seller as that is normally the best bet, but when you just don't know them you "can" be taking a risk putting your cards on the table so to speak.

Alex - Totally makes sense! Good luck if you end up talking to the seller. I see that Ethier has a buyback auto from this years Bowman...I hope you land one of those. I FINALLY scanned my latest Felix pickup too...pics coming up shortly.

Long overdue for scans/pics...I picked this bad boy up near 2 weeks ago. I ended up with a GREAT sale with the 2012 Museum Collection Roy Halladay jumbo patch auto /10 that sold for $265. I have been snagging some PC cards with the funds as well as put some of it towards a slot in the 2012 Bowman casebreak with Andrew. Here is the main card I wanted and was happy to land it. These cards don't scan very well as any of you that have one know...
