I seen the post you asking me if the Union does anything about hiring returning Vets. As of now we are only involved in asking some of the companies in our area to hold a job fair for them. There are others in the group (region 4) that have programs for which I just learned about and I'm going to review them and see we we can possibly do some thing similar or not. Also as for my local there are 14 listed on our membership but only we have currently 5 active members who actually do some of the stuff we do. So it is tough to go out and do things some times.

When I was younger I was in a parking lot with a Rush Cassette Tape playing "Tom Sawyer" and ran into a young blonde woman who decided to pull right out in front of me..
I was young, dumb, and stupid, and since it was my first wreck.. I looked at the two cars and said there wasn't that much damage to either.. probably $150 would fix her car.. so she said okay.. So I gave her $150 cash and we both went our own way..

Michael,
It's a Northwoods League game. Just a couple of teams made up of DI/DII College Players. I am a huge fan of one of the teams but I am only going to meet Bret Saberhagen.

I finished my paper which means that I finished my first class of the year. I plan to finish another class today, another one by Wednesday, and another one by the end of the weekend. That will only give me 1 class to finish and I will have all of next week to concentrate on it.

Just saw the report about Berkman having ACL and possible retirement. Sheesh, this year has been strange...so many season-ending injuries already for many stars (Mo, V-Mart, The Beard...) and it's only May. :shock:

I came close to grabbing a foul ball only once. Dodgers vs. Twins a few years ago. One flew 2 rows in front of us.

Dan - Should be a great time win or lose At least the M's swept the Rockies and we are one game ahead of the Angels which we play this weekend. I'm taking Jen to an Angels game next Sunday as well so we are stoked for that. Hopefully the M's can pull at least one win over the Rangers and then 2-3 with the Angels. I'm eager to see your newly acquired Killebrews.
