Good afternoon boys. Site is even slower than the last time I tried it last week. Took me 2+ mins to browse to the site on my phone and post this. Old site...30 seconds give or take.

Alex (PNW) says he can't get on here on his PC or in the Mobile app. I can get on here on my PC and phone.
I am good from PC, Mac, iPhone app, iPad, etc.....
Good Afternoon Gents! Glad I can finally make it back on the site.
I must need to reboot my router at home since it the site works just fine here at work and on my phone. What is really starting to piss me off is that FCB is THE ONLY site that requires a reboot of the home router for this issue. I have a bit more than common sense in the PC and networking field and I know for a fact my equipment (no pun intended) is healthy on that aspect. I do not doubt one bit this is one of the many issues that is assisting with keeping the traffic low from what we used to have. Don't get me wrong, I actually enjoy the layout and the changes have been catering to us users slowly over time, but come on...a single site should not require a damn reboot of a home router when ALL OTHER websites are working just fine. I don't rant much, and I just needed to get it out so rant is now over
Again...glad to be back on the site![]()
I haven't sold anything like I had hoped too lately...
I don't know how to get rid of these cards... I have about 50 $.50-$1 cards that I don't know what to do with.
I do not have an app phone, but mobile versions of facebook, twitter, ebay, google, blowout, amazon, gmail, yahoo all work great for me. Blowout uses the same software I believe. And G, not to be a smartass, but my dues are all the ebay links I have not been clicking the last few weeks.
So I was poking around the internet today trying to find a photo of an obscure minor league pitcher (never made the bigs) named Jim Kirk. His claim to fame is he's the pitcher that hit Don Zimmer in the head (the first time) resulting in Zimmer getting metal screws put in his skull. Anyway, after some digging, the only photo I found was this - Jim Kirk is player on left:

Seems in 1953, the Columbus Red Birds experimented with having models escort relief pictures from the bullpen to the mound. Novel idea, no? The Red Birds implemented the idea in June. Zim was beaned by Kirk on July 7. So now I have to wonder, was Kirk maybe preoccupied thinking about his model escort when he misfired at Zim? Was Zim's career forever altered because of some arm candy? The world may never know, but an interesting thought!
