Andrew- I've always been a big fan of the 1978 set as well. I really like the look of it.

Richard- I didn't know all of that. Very cool. Enjoy the game on your phone.

Paul- Not hitting rocks is definitely a good thing. Best of luck with the rest of it.

Dave (w)- Are you working on the list of your set needs? If it's all Topps, I can probably help with 83 and 86 and maybe even a little of 81. If it's Fleer or Donruss, I could probably help in 81-84. Just let me know, brother.

Joe - did BP say if he had any interest in the hobby at all? Or did you even ask?

Hi Joe, I am still digging out my checklists! I have them somewhere, locating them is the problem. As soon as I find them I will shoot the lists to you! Thanks again man!

I will be 4 rows behind the first base bag heckling drunk Chicago Bros

I remember you returning from a party about a year ago or so and expressing your "happiness" (yeah, lets go with that as the word for it) with the people.

Dan- It didn't come up.

Dave (w)- No rush or anything, I just wasn't sure if you saw my post yesterday. ;)

Sometimes, I despise eBay. I bought a 4 card Brandon Phillips lot for $3 with free shipping. Cards arrive Postage Due $3.55. Evidently, the package did not meet the delivery confirmation thickness requirement. The seller keeps arguing with me saying that I was overcharged and should go talk to the postmaster. My mailman is a good guy. He wouldn't rip me off and I've never had a problem before. I've had other items come postage due before, but it was always less than 50¢. This time, it's more than I paid for the cards to begin with.

I have scanned the envelope showing that it was clearly marked and the amount. I am awaiting the seller's response to see if they even want me to email them the scan. I get the feeling that I am taking that $3.55 up the tail pipe.

I've been out nearly $500 from my first attempt at purchasing an iPhone on eBay. PayPal says that they'll pay out within the next two weeks as the sellers bank account has returned insufficient funds. What a nightmare.
