Off to the VA Hospital in Iron Mountain. A friend needed a ride for a appointment, and I need to do some business in the "Big City".

back to the grind and already have the trip clothes washing and done a bit of cleaning up around the apartment. My wife is sick so she stayed home from work. She was throwing up last night and again this morning and has a fever. I told her maybe she got a touch of sun stroke because she didn't wear any sunscreen or anything on her head all weekend. The trip was a good time for all of us and well needed. The girls went on quite a bit of rides including a few of the coasters and loved every minute of it. too bad we couldn't have 1 more day there so we could have rode everything we all wanted to ride.

Seems as though this tropical storm could make for an interesting week.

Good Morning!

I live right on the coast in the Tampa Bay area and it just stopped raining after 30 hours of constant heavy rain. The 24 hour rainfall shows we got 12.25 inches but thankfully the winds never got much higher than 50mph so most of the damage was flooding related. I've lived here almost my whole life and have never seen the tide anywhere near as high as it got yesterday night. It's really weird seeing cars completely submerged in areas you would never imagine could flood and people going down the road in canoes!
