That actually poses a great question. Many of us in the MT have cards set aside for our kids, but does anyone have other cool stuff that they are hoping to pass down? (family heirlooms, other collections, misc treasures, etc)

All my Hot Wheels cars and track, Lego, Duplo and Tonka are put away.
So is a wide assorment of sports equipment.
The wife has a nice China collection.

Am planning on doing a full inventory this summer, but I would estimate between 400-500.

I already have plans to donate my Jack London collection to Sonoma State when I kick off. The newer editions aren't worth much, but the Firsts, rarer editions and ephemera have already been looked over by one of the people there a few years ago. She definitely wants that.

As far as heirlooms, there are only a few things. The ET has no interest in it, unless he can sell it, so I will pass that stuff on to my sister and her son, I guess.

My dad was just informed today that his business partner is officially leaving the company in September and the business will cease to exist (the others said they would leave if the partnership split). My dad has been expecting it but not this soon. He's likely going to turn the in law suite into his office and run it from there. However, that will require a complete renovation and the hope that almost all of his clients stay with him through the transition. It's extremely nerve wracking and my mom is a complete mess. These are the times when I wish I was home or closer to home.

Went scrapping today... took the metal innards of an old couch and a rusty file cabinet, and a ton of cans and got a whopping $15.
