Anyone with plans this weekend?
Sleep... I might go fishing, but that will depend on the weather. It's been incredibly hot here (by Minnesota standards).

Anyone with plans this weekend?
That was when we learned that Yasiel Puig got paid to the tune of seven years and $42 million by the LA Dodgers. It's the richest deal ever signed by a Cuban defector, besting the six-year, $36 million contract that Yoenis Cespedes signed with the A's after a lot more hype and attention last winter.
The agreement is pending a physical exam, and would be the largest dollar figure accorded a Cuban defector, surpassing the four-year, $36 million deal Oakland Athletics outfielder Yoenis Céspedes received in February.
Also, Cespedes contract is 36/4, not 36/6.
Good morning to all. At the Neuro ICU in Houston with my Mom. She has a brain aneurism (sp?) and we are awaiting surgery. Thanfully, the medical district in Houston is pretty good.
Make it a good day!
LOLEither way, I don't think it said HIGHEST per year...It seemed like they stated overall value of the contract.
And in America 42>36.

(It was just the wording. Richest contract to me is per year. If he only plays 4 years he wont make all the money.)
LOLAnd this is where Canuckian math < American Math.
And Yu has nothing to do with this as it was Richest Contract for a Cuban Defect.![]()
