As for the Olympics, our family will be watching the women's swimming. (One of my daughter's swim counselor's made the team.)

Good Morning/Afternoon Gents!!! It is "Sunday" and TONS of work to do around the house. If we are lucky we will finish up the kitchen cabinets and get all those boxes unpacked. Slightly overwhelming with how much there is too do but will look pretty damn good once we are complete

No Amtrak in the UP. Just RV and snowmobile trails that are using the old railway grades. All just for tourism.

Edit:

When I lived in Southeastern Wisconsin I used to ride the train to Great Lakes Naval Base to see the doctor as a kid. Last time I was on a train, a group of us went to Chicago to see the Jerry Springer Show. Nice trip. Just a couple of transfers, (cab ride) to the NBC Tower on Chicago's Magnificent Mile.

I forget where I was, but I got a 1946 Nickel as change. I was hoping it was a war-nickel (30% silver) but I was one year off...

I read somewhere that it's still worth about $.45 in collector value though.

I just read up on last year's big storm that hit us. 3 - EF-1 Tornadoes were reported, all in one afternoon.

We still have damage to the garage roof. Thankfully, that's the worst of it.

meh I was offer 25 bucks for the Matt Cain Auto I had up for the past month I brought the price down to 75.00 even though I know it would not get at price either. So I countered with a little bit higher price to the potential buyer and will see if they meet in in the middle....say around 30-35. I know it was a freebie card per-say but I should have gotten something for it when he threw his Perfect Game.......But money is for nothing and chicks are free.
