Is he better than Faxon Dan?

It has been said for some time now just how good a putter Snedeker is, doesn't matter what style of green. The real benefit with him playing well this weekend would be that he earns a spot on the Ryder Cup team and not join as a captains pick.

I don't know that anyone can be as good on the greens as Faxon was. Best putter ever to play the game in my opinion. Snedeker and Choi might be the two most underrated putters on tour when it comes to difficult greens.

Good morning..

Wife just called and I heard the thunder in the background.. then all the alarms from her medical equipment as the power went out... luckily a few seconds later the power came back on..

Lots of lightning strikes last night..

Sorry to see what happened in Colorado..

George, great looking card..

Hope everyone has a great day..

Morning all.

Weather is heating up out here.

I don't mind golf. It is relaxing to watch it on tv, even if I don't get all the nuances of the game.

The relaxed element is one of the many reasons I follow it so closely.

Just saw this on Bill Simmons's BS report:

I know it's basketball, but with the free agent frenzy, it was a funny article.

Dan, I think it is a combo of the quiet announcer voices, the muted green colors (in grayish weather), and the easy pacing of the game that I enjoy.

Last couple days, I have had to sign in with username and password each time. Not sure why it started to do that...

On the plus side, I can now see Pete's coffee pics! :p

Not sure if there is a connection there.

Well then you should tune in this week for sure. They have a huge contingent there for this tournament, Peter Aliss in the a.m. and Ivor Robson on the first tee. Robson is one of the parts I look most forward to each year.

Can you elaborate? Has he won too many? Just trying understand you viewpoint in this

Have you ever met someone, thought wow you are a Fn D-bag? I met Tiger some years back when he came to Fort Bragg with his dad.......a grip and grin with the troops etc. The man had no respect for those around him or those he spoke with. Again, I hope he does well since he is great for golf but personally I will never root for him.

I just realized something.

Whoever starts the mornging thread will have a major quality post point bump. The algorithm will look at the number of pages and then find the OP.

Morning. Golf is for guys that can't hit a moving ball. The Aurora, Colorado shooting sucks. What a coward and scumbag.

We've made it to Friday. Looking forward to the weekend. Have a pool party to go to and thinking of taking the kids to Donley's Wild West Town, a smaller cowboy theme park near us. Pony rides, shooting gallery, train rides, cowboy show, pan for fool's gold, that sort of thing.

And these guys have been waking me up all week. But it's been fun watching the mom and dad build the nest, sit on the eggs, and see them hatch this past month. Yesterday the 3 chicks opened their eyes for the first time. The mom and dad fly back and forth with meals all day long - I read that the chicks eat over 100 times a day. Sounds like my boys!

For a guy who doesn't like golf you sure shoot a lot of birdies.
