What? Unions have less than 10% of the workforce organized in the US. Canadian workers have so much better conditions and benefits.

Ernie Ells, a GREAT Ambassador for the game.

Kevin, the group I'm going with to the Seahawks/Packer game is staying 4 days. One of the days is scheduled for a tour of the Boeing Plant. Is it a good tour? I'm sure we'll see something interesting.

I'm in 2 unions. We're fighting for back pay in 1 of them dating back almost 2 years.

Jessie:

I started working at the AMC plant in Kenosha, WI in 1973. I was a member of the UAW. I ended up quitting a year later, got into it with my union steward. Local 72 is just not that professional. Left a bad taste for me.

I joined the IBEW when I received my apprenticeship. Best move I ever made, it has provided me with a decent living and helped put my daughter through college. I still have great insurance, even thought I have to pay it every month, at a reduced early retirement payment. The Union negotiated a decent local pension plan that I was able to take early. If I had worked non-union, I would probably be out of work due to my age, and the economy, and would not have the opportunities that I have now.
