Evening guys
Half way home. We are at the border of Iowa and IL. Should be home around 9-10 or so.
So I see from the posts on here Frenchie did it again.

Took all my girls fishing for a few hours and SUCCESS!!!! my oldest caught her first ever largemouth bass(but was too girlie to take it off the hook or lip it) and my youngin's each caught a couple sunfish all by themself. I brought my pole but only fished a few minutes and didn't catch a thing. My brother and Father were also there and got to witness all this craziness. On the ride home we saw a Doe and a couple fawn grazing alongside the highway which was very cool too.

Hey guys! Love time to see, I've been working 49 hour weeks for the past few weeks so been a tad busy. I am so excited because my internet has been working like sh*t lately [past month or so] and it turns out we had a bad router (our provider hooked up a new modem as well) so I just got a new one set up and now my computer works soooo good, real fast and have not been getting kicked off at all so that is awesome. 
Online gaming should be much improved as well so can't wait to try that out. I think they tweaked our outside connection too so I guess I don't have an excuse to not be on FCB now. =P
Hope everyone is doing well....any new pickups for you guys? I haven't had too much time to look for a new PC card but have been saving up $ so I am just waiting for one I really want.

Made it home and now it is time to get back to reality. So let me start by explaining what transpired while I was gone. As most of you know I work for Dell, and we are contracted with Dignity Health ( formerly CHW). To give a little history my job position and several others used to actually be part of Dignity Health. At some point in the past many jobs were outsourced to a company called Perot Systems. Almost 4 years ago I was hired on at Perot Systems and attached to the CHW contract. About 2 years ago we were bought by Dell, and we remained contracted with CHW. Well over the past few months Dignity Health has decided to insource these positions again. So what does that mean? It means if I want to stay doing what I am currently doing I just have to interview for my position again. No big deal at all. It also means I will not be a Dell employee if hired into my current position. No big deal there either. What I am Hoping can transpire is that if I apply for something outside of my current position I can get it. For example move back to CA and do what I do here. Basically ALL positions will be open to all current employees being affected not sure if I want to do it but the opportunity is there (I believe) if I want to try to make that move. Monday when I get back to work I will start asking my questions and see what I can find out.
Whew sorry for the long read, but I felt it was worth sharing what is currently going on at my job.

We took a drive up the coast to check out McGrath State Beach. We have the California State Park annual pass so we got to avoid the parking/admission fees.
Really nice beach/campground. Only real access to that section of the coast is for those who are either camping or using the day use parking, so it wasn't crowded a bit. Got to see a nice Least Tern nesting preserve and about 100 Brown Pelicans on the wing!
Gorgeous day, even if the return traffic was monstrous.

Alex - Thanks man! the trip was awesome. Got to get some beach time, got to do a couple of tourists things for the kids. All in all it was a great time. Family time is always the best. Also got to meet Andrew and Chris, no complaints at all about our trip! I will share more pics probably tomorrow but we have company coming over so I am not sure what time I will be able to post those.
