Here is a fun fact:

Even though the US has the most rednecks per capita than any other country (with Canada being in second place, and I am quite sure Australia takes 3rd), Lawnmower Racing actually got it's start as a real, governed sport in Great Britain, long before the US adopted it.

Another fun fact:

Currently, the land speed record for a lawn mower is held by Bobby Cleveland (who is better known as the Engine Answer Man) with 96 MPH, but before then, it was held by a British person by the name of Don Wales, at least once before then.

Sweet - a week from tonight the family is going to Wrigley for "Boy Scout Night" with our Cub Scout pack. We get to march on the warning track prior to the game. Just looked to see if it was a promo giveaway night and it's Starlin Castro Bobblehead night. I should get 5!

Done with my chores. Fixed Ole' Betsy, my 1957 Johnson Ski Horse motor. I was out fishing last week and the spring coil for the pull recoil rope came out of place. No more rowing.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Looks like Nicolle's Slugger's is in first place in Ken's league, FCB Brawl, and have climbed into second place in the MT league. Gave Richard a thrashing last week.
