Happy Birthday Alex! You share a birthday with a good friend of mine, Peter Barca who is the Minority Leader in the Wisconsin State Assembly. I just PM'd him also!

Anyway, Topps Mailday! I sent these in to get authenticated (Thanks Topps!) due to the Aflac cards not being numbered. Some of these are really hard to get mint grades supposedly.

Now I remember why I only had 4 posts in almost 5 years on the bench trading site. Some guy was looking to finish out a 3rd set of 2012 A&G so I had 10 cards for him and posted I would let them go for 4 Dlvd (2 of which would be shipping and supplies of course). The OP posts he does not buy and I was going to post I don't trade base cards if you need them for your set and I obviously don't hence I'm selling them to get rid of them.

I get an e-mail notification, of a pm over there this morning. So the pm was warning not to offer cards for sale again, since I'm a newbie member.....Not new just very low post count ass-hat at rightfully so. I replied thanks for reminding of why I only had 4 posts on here in almost 5 years. And the guy replies back, that I need to watch myself are I'll get a vacation from the place..........ummmmmmm ok so I should make my 5th post the one that gets me the boot :lol: man what a great day it has been so far............

I don't even have an account on the Bench.

I have one on Neshek's that I use a lot. Otherwise, I have GU Universe, Topps (if they are still around), UD (if they are still around), and SCF, which I don't use anymore.

I don't understand why more set collectors don't buy...

I mean, it's "cheaper" to just trade for cards, and it keeps it in the "spirit" of the "game," but not everyone with base cards is building a base set.

My thought exactly. I hate when people say they need there cards to finish a set and sometimes say they will buy. I have bought most of the cards I need to finish the 2 sets I have gone after in like 8 years. But he to each his own. But I do love that some of them sit there for like months waiting for someone to pop up and say they have the last few cards they need. when they could hvae been done with it if they just bought them. It is part of making the set you have to buy some, sometimes too.

Rich: Very true. Most sets that I have worked on I have ripped or bought. I've traded for a few as well, but I am not a multi-case breaker so I usually only have doubles from whatever retail I buy.

Ralph: I love the Harrisons! I don't know a ton about him as he's still pretty new though.

Looks like it. That's pretty decent slugging and a solid AVG.

The papers and the tv stations don't care too much about MiLB (minus the occasional article about how Rochester is doing), so we don't hear a lot about our minor leaguers.
