Dan- I'm hoping he does. I have no idea why he had such a down season this year. I really thought Leake would break out and win 16+. I think he will do well, but who knows. BP is definitely playing well. Great players always rise to the occasion in big spots. :D

It'll be fun to see how he does in a matchup against Zito.

Good afternoon men.

Joe very nice Dunn pickups! I really like the way the All-star cards look this year. They all look good from the boring old single swatch to the jumbos. And thats great your dad helped you get the jumbo. Mine is actually helping me right now as well! He doesn't collect but he supports the hobby

Thanks Zac! That's awesome that your dad is so supportive!

My dad used to collect and he appreciates my collection which helps tremendously. He's offered to help several times before, but I don't like to do that. I'm plenty old enough that if I can't afford it, I shouldn't get it. I am very lucky though, my wife, my father, my mom and stepdad are all very supportive of my hobby. My parents all like to try and help when they can.

I agree that Topps did a great job with the All-Star cards. They look really nice.

Well I saw a couple of Spans on ebay that I needed, more of that I wanted but I need them lol, and I asked him if he'd be able to chip in a little but for them because I wasn't going to be able to raise enough money in time. They end on Sunday but I got a text from PayPal before I went to class saying I got money lol. If I end up losing out on them I'll be tossing the money on COMC for a few cards

I started a thread about the jumbos. Hopefully others will share theirs. Topps really hit a home run with these.

Possibly my favorite design to date as far as topps game used.

That's awesome! Best of luck on winning the cards!

A couple of years ago, my mom and stepdad bought me an autographed Dave Concepcion bat. This year for my birthday they got me an MVP membership to the Reds Hall of Fame so that I could get the 6 Big Red Machine bobbleheads. They do stuff like that all of the time. My dad goes through his collection and if he finds things he thinks I'll like, he'll just give it to me. The coolest is a 1967 scorecard from a Giants-Reds game at Crosley Field. It's signed by Johnny Bench. He was a September call up in '67 and it's from one of his first MLB games. It means a lot that they all have taken an interest in my collection.
