I went back to Goodwill and grabbed 2 rubber stamp (don't know the technical term, it's what I remember from art class) prints.

One is #'d 5/60, one is #'d 6/60, and they are signed by the artist.

I paid 3 each. It looks like the original sale price was $35.

Now I just have to find someone to purchase them

I can post a pic of the hat too, but it's pretty generic.

I am a very casual user of the website, but notice this is one of the most active threads. that being the case I have am looking for advice from anyone with experience with vintage cards regarding Ebay. if a vintage card is sold, then the buyer sends into grading service, ie PSA, then card deemed ungradable / altered / trimmed, should the original seller have responsibility to refund. thoughts?

First, welcome to the MT! As for your question, I'd have to refer back to the listing. If it wasn't mentioned that it was trimmed, I'd have to ask if you asked the seller? Just playing devils advocate as that's probably what the seller would respond. Vintage being what it is, it's a good idea to ask before bidding. Sorry.

the card was listed as EX+to NM condition, no mention of any type of tampering / trimming. 3rd party (PSA in this case) deemed as trimmer or altered.

I guess what I'm also wondering is that if this situation went as escalated to an "iem not as described" case on Ebay, trying to figure out how Ebay would judge the situation

Well then, the way it was listed is a little deceptive. I would consider a Ex+ to NM grade to include non-trimmed. Have you asked the seller if they knew of the trimming?

Since it is vintage you can try a return but it is pretty much buyer beware since the item has probably changed hands numerous times.

Alex(PNW) I know which patch card you are looking at.. If I were you, I would bid on it to win.. there are only 5 of them and that's a nice card!!

I just snagged this card that doesn't come up very often..
