Ended up going to Lincoln tonight. That is a great movie. It had some of the best acting I've seen in a long time

Best offer was just accepted on the most expensive card I've ever purchased. Super stoked, since I've got a eBay $50 gift card for Christmas, I'll 'only' pay $150, which'll "tie" my most paid for a card. I'll wait til it gets in hand to show it. I'm so XXXXing stoked I got it now though, as it was a card I wanted last offseason but just couldn't put together the funds, due to my battle with viral meningitis and the Philippines trip. SO XXXXING STOKED !!!! :-P

Thanks Steve !!!

I wanted to get the 1/1, but that is just outta my price range, unless I hit the Powerball jackpot. The patches were the big key on this one as well. One player has had some great patches, but the other players side of the card just had plain jersey. This one, though, is fatal patches all over the place.

Have you paid for the auction yet? If so, it should be including in your total. People have to remember that to receive the extra 3%, the buyer has to pay on the date the offer is valid.
I did, but nothing has shown up!

On another note, working my way through the cards I have so far. I have hit the 50 mark for my 1953 Topps set!

No problem man. I know what It's like to collect on a budget. Most I've ever spent on a card is $225. That's was a Billy Butler 2005 Topps Chrome Red xFractor auto /25. I have some killer highend, but It's only because I was able to land an amazing trade for them.

I spent $150 on a '06 Ultimate Ensembles Triple auto of JJ/Cain/Weaver #'d/1 a couple summers ago. That was the most I had ever spent. This'll tie it. Not a 1/1, but it has another stud pitcher w/JJ on it. Can't wait to see it in-hand though :giddy:
