I just love walking to class only to hear the professor talk for 5-10 minutes about stuff that could have been sent in a short email. It wouldn't be so bad if it was my only class, or I didn't have a class scheduled right afterwards. Oh well, who cares. I got done early with class

One of my friends walked to campus today only to find out her 8 am class was cancelled and her next class isn't until 5pm. lol

YO! I need some help... guy selling card in Canada is telling me I can pay the $3 s/h but it won't have delivery confirmation because international delivery confirmation is $15? Is this correct? I am getting so confused with this guy.

Yes he is correct

You can get insurance for around $7 but tracking is $15

Thanks! Well I don't know what to do... he is willing to ship regular mail for $3 s/h but obviously it won't have delivery confirmation or insurance I don't think. I'd still be protected under PayPal right? Which would suck for him being the seller because if a claim was opened, he would have to show proof of delivery confirmation?

Honestly, if that were an option, I probably would, but it is written in the lease that using the deposit as last month's rent is not an option.

No clue what lease laws are like there, but a lease doesn't hold up in court here. We had to cut one 6 months short. Landlord tried to bully us into paying the final six months. We told them we'd fight it in court, and they dropped it. They did keep our deposit, for breaking the lease though. It was worthwhile, just to get out of the place though.

I couldn't be as level headed as you are. I'd have done blown a gasket on ol girl.

I already lost it with her once with the aforementioned bed bug issue. She's doing all this because A) She's obviously a little off and B) She's in SERIOUS debt. I don't have the time (or money) to fight her legally so I hope it doesn't come to that.

You should be protected. I had a claim filed against me for a $1 card. I know it arrived. But pp/ebay gave the buyer the money.

Well the work day is done and I have to say I got a lot accomplished for it being a Monday.

Replaced an AvGas hose on our fuel farm and replaced 5 filters in one of out Jet refuelers. Just in time for our annual inspection tomorrow.

Now to just get the smell of jet fuel off of me

Yea, it'll be like a $100 transaction, if they want to ship it like a tard, then let them... PayPal will cover me if they claim it got lost and they don't have a tracking number.

Ya, you will be covered.

Canada Post changed their rates as of Jan 1. There's no insurance available under $15 any more. Pretty pathetic.
