Glad I had my two for one surgery a couple years ago -- sliced open two areas and out of work for five weeks . Had to learn how to walk again . Just $40,000 in bills GLAD I had insurance .

Not selling out. Thinning out. Jules medical bills where more then we expected. We just got two bills for $190 each for 2 post op visits where the doctor did nothing but look up her nose.

Hope she's doing as well as the Dr. that's getting paid.:D

Yep, I am still occasionally around. I have decided to waste more time on the stupid Facebook games now that the semester is pretty much over.

Despite my efforts to passive-aggressively get fired from my job, they will keep me on, it seems.

Had a full-on meltdown XXXXXout on one of the evil minions at work, in front of God and everybody, on the very last day of the semester, too!

Obviously, I am not trying hard enough...

I will help with this as much as I can.;)

When I hear stories of how much medical procedures cost, I'm thankful for Tricare Prime. We complain about it but the cost can't be beat.

PoMo is dead......time to find a new angle.

I disagree. Though a case could be made that a new literary criticism theory is needed after 9/11, until a valid one can be identified, Postmodernism is still relevant, in my opinion (and, as I have said before, that is the only opinion I care about, so.....) :p

Actually wrote an article about 9/11 novels recently for a friend's project!

I owe so much now that there is no realistic way to ever pay them off. Not a chance.

And, with a series of exploratory surgeries over the next few weeks, the total will be practically Biblical in its scope.

I wish you nothing but the best of outcomes with these.:grouphug:

I love those do-nothing bills, Josh. Hope she is feeling better!

I added up my medical bills over the past few months and I am liable for almost $20,000 all told! And I actually HAVE insurance (kinda).

I'm lucky I had Medicade or Medicare, last January, when I was in the hospital nearly every other day. And my 4 day stay was $16K I believe. If we didn't have insurance, I'd be selling my body on the corner ... again.

Josh I would call the insurance company ansd tell them what they actually did on that DOS date of service.
This happened to my wife and she called and told them what was done and what was not. Weird thing was that the insurance company sent her 265 bucks for saving them .....gets this 265 bucks.

Not sure whY they did this but we still have the money in case they ask for it bsck.
